BOARD & TRAIN

An immersion program where your dog stays with us in our home, getting consistent training, supervision and management for a minimum of two weeks.

PRIVATE LESSONS

One-on-one sessions at your door or out and about, focusing on specific skills and behaviors your pup needs to cohabit in harmony.

CLIENT BOARDING

Offered to past/current clients who would like their pup's training maintained in a structured environment, or for those dogs with behavioral issues that would not thrive in traditional boarding environments.

Tarra and Mike have been great trying to help train our "spunky" dachshund puppy Barkley. He's got a lot of energy and is quite stubborn, so it's been difficult to make progress. After numerous one on one sessions in my home, at their suggestion we've decided to go with their Board & Train option, as that will enable them to dedicate constant reinforcement of commands and routines. I believe they are very fairly priced and extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling. I would highly recommend The Canine Polarity!

I have a 1.5 year old Labrador who developed significant reactivity with humans and dogs. Even with months of day training with a trainer, I was still struggling to get him to follow commands consistently. Thankfully, his trainer put me in touch with Tarra and Mike! They are VERY knowledgeable and skilled with dogs like mine and immediately made their recommendations. We decided to do a 3 week board and train to introduce structure and an ecollar. I was so nervous but Tarra sent lots of detailed updates, videos, and observations about my dog. She always responded to my texts and really got to understand what he needed. He returned home a few days ago and is much better! He is still his mischievous and playful self but now understands the limits, expectations, and privileges he is allowed to have. Not only did Tarra and Mike train my dog how to live harmoniously, but they trained me and my family too! I’ve reached out several times since he got home and Tarra continues to provide coaching as needed so we don’t fall back into bad habits. I would highly recommend The Canine Polarity for your training needs!!

Tarra and Mike are absolutely amazing trainers and people. They are professional, thoughtful, kind, results oriented and kept me posted on Pancake’s 4 week boarding/training with them regularly. Pancake was a new dog when he arrived home. It was such a transformation, I was in awe of their progress with him. They spent 2 hours with me when they brought him home training me on what they had taught him. I look forward to our continued training sessions. I cannot recommend them enough.
